Co-ordinator: Sheryl Riceman: I am a teacher of 30 years experience who is a novice ICT practitioner. I have an awareness of the need for personal upskilling to stay in touch with the needs of students in the age of electronic learning. This has led me to focus my enthusiasm on seeking out new and purposeful learning opportunities which include ICT. I feel that I represent a large percentage of teachers who are striving to integrate ICT development into their class programmes without having significant training or background in ICT. I understand that in pursuing personal elearning, I will enrich the programmes of learning I am able to offer my students. As I combine my co-ordinator role with that of being Assistant Principal the value I place on elearning is visible in the way I lead colleagues and engage others in conversation and learning opportunities. Ralene: An experienced class teacher who has taught at Reignier for 16 years. Ralene teaches upper juniors and has strengths in Literacy which have led to focus on embedding meaningful ICT activities into her reading and writing programmes. Ralene is motivated to try new elearning opportunities and is prepared to �give things a go. She is building her skill level and often extends how to sessions independently later in the week. She willingly shares the outcomes of these sessions with the ICT Leader and others. Ralene is exploring the use of various ICT tools to record student Term 1 Goal:To set up and begin a personal eportfolio using Spike@school.
